Our Child Programmeis the UK’s leading edge, therapeutic, after school programme for primary school aged children with emotional, behavioural, and psychological disorders. Based in Radlett, in beautiful, rural Hertfordshire, we operate specifically to provide transformative therapeutic support to children who need help in adapting to the varied and stressful requirements of 21st century living.

We provide comprehensive support, through group therapy sessions and one to one therapy sessions, for children with dysfunctional communication, emotional, and behavioural issues. We specialise in delivering effective psychological treatment through using an embodied, experiential approach, using proven techniques which fit into childrens’ and parents’ busy lives.

Our high-end therapeutic treatment programme provides care, support and a pathway to recovery and wellbeing from the large range of psychological issues that can affect children, such as:

  • Anxiety and Panic Attacks
  • School refusal
  • Low Self Esteem
  • Loneliness and lack of friends
  • Being bullied

Our 20 Day Child Programme

Our leading edge, therapeutic programme includes the following for Year 4, Year 5, or Year 6 school-aged children:

  • A free, evaluative assessment with one of our expert team of therapists
  • A thorough psychological assessment by our Clinical Psychologist
  • 20 structured, experiential Group Sessions (75 minutes), Monday through Friday, after school – a four week, after school programme of transformative support
  • 4 one-to-one psychotherapy sessions for your child, with one of our expert team of therapists – each therapy session is 30 minutes in length
  • During the programme Family Support and telephone support is available, to ensure and enable a strong, transformative experience for our children and their families

Our unique programme has been specifically designed to fit around the busy, 21st century lives of school children and their parents.

 

In our group therapy sessions we work holistically in order to do transformative, supportive work with children:

*who are disruptive in school and in the home (ADHD or lower scale Autism, for example)

*who have trouble with emotion management (OCD/worry or Anxiety/fear/panic attacks, for example)

*who have difficulties in focussing or being patient & taking their turn (Anger issues or ADHD for example)

*who have difficulty with or are refusing to engage with 21st century life (school refusal or low level ODD, for example)

 

We take an embodied, experiential approach in order that our children achieve wellbeing in our after school sessions and, then, in their lives. The group sessions consist of the following structured, clinically proven elements:
